Two halves: 15 minutes each half
-
Running clock (stops only on timeouts, injuries, or referee’s discretion)
-
Halftime break: 5 minutes
Rules:
1. No Swearing or Offensive Language
This is a Christian fellowship event. Please use uplifting words and avoid swearing, trash talk, or negative remarks. Let’s encourage one another both on and off the court.2. Play with Respect
Respect teammates, opponents, referees, and the game. Remember, the goal is fellowship and fun—not just winning.3. Safe Play – No Rough Contact
Basketball is a physical game, but unnecessary roughness (pushing, shoving, intentional fouls) is not allowed. Safety comes first.4. Teamwork & Sportsmanship
Share the ball, play fair, and cheer for good plays from both sides. Sportsmanship is more important than the scoreboard.5. Timeouts
Each team is allowed 2 timeouts per half (1 minute each).6. Fouls
-
Standard basketball fouls apply (shooting fouls = free throws).
-
A player with 5 personal fouls is out for the game.
7. Substitutions
Can be made during dead-ball situations (whistles, timeouts, or halftime).8. Attire
Teams should wear coordinated colors/shirts to avoid confusion. Modest and comfortable attire is encouraged.9. Prayer Before Game
Before tip-off, both teams will join together for a short prayer.10. Have Fun & Fellowship
This is more than a game—it’s an opportunity to connect, encourage, and glorify God through sports. Win or lose, let’s honor Him in how we play. -
